However the word makes you feel, the reality is that discipline is an essential component in making goals become reality. It is discipline that separates those with good ideas and good intentions from those who make things happen. When things get difficult, discipline keeps you going. Our Lord modeled this type of discipline well while He was on earth. His laser focus on the goal the Father set before Him is visible from His temptation in the desert all the way through His crucifixion.
