Live a Daily Life of Worship

Christy Nockels, singer-songwriter, has long had a huge appreciation for music and the role it plays in the kingdom of God. As a worship leader for many years, she’s seen firsthand how music sweeps people into the presence of God in a powerful way. But what does a life of worship look like in our daily life outside the walls of the church? Christy explains what it looks like to pursue a lifestyle of worship in our everyday lives.

Christy referred to Psalms 37 in explaining that living a life of worship is a life committed to trust God with our desires, gifting, songs and whatever tools we have. "He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn." It's his to promote, not our own. What desires, gifting, songs and tools do you have that you commit to God? What are some ways that God can use you? What desires do you want to come to fruition?

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.
~Psalm 37:4–6 (NIV)
