Church planting requires starting from scratch. The church office, church budget, set hours and salary do not exist. A new culture will demand every part of you and your family. In this next video clip, Christine shares her advice to new church planting wives and explains a good way to approach this journey.

Christine said that she always encourages wives to do two things:
  1. Embrace the influence God has given you.
  2. Pray that God would show you how to use that influence best to honor Him.

Have you embraced the calling God has placed on your husband's life? How have you demonstrated it to him?

Christine shared that she is constantly asking God to show her what it is He wants her to do. Write down the ideas that you have about your role in your husband's ministry. Pray that God will show you what it is that you need to do and what you need to let go for others to do.

Christine writes in her blog, "So your commitment to Christ and to His gospel is your anchor in everything you’ll do as a disciple, a wife, a mom, and a church planting wife. Nurture this relationship you have with Christ. Know God intimately, because all of ministry flows out of this relationship."
