Bill Peel is the founding Executive Director of The Center for Faith & Work at LeTourneau University. He is an award-winning author of seven books including Workplace Grace. His passion is to help people close the gap between Sunday faith and Monday work.

Take the time to look up and reflect on the passages Bill referenced: Genesis 1:26–28, Eph. 2:10, Eph. 4:28, Psalm 139, Col. 3: 12–17, 1 Thess. 4:1–12.

In this next video, Bill helps us understand the purpose of business on this earth in a way that brings meaning to our work.

Bill explained that the purpose of business is organizing human resources and resources of the planet so that 3 things can happen:
  1. Products and services are created that help the community and people served flourish.
  2. Provides meaningful employment for people that allows them to express their giftedness.
  3. Produces and creates wealth out of the earth for all stakeholders (employers, employees and community).

Is your work/business/organization meeting legitimate needs? Is it good work? How does it create, provide and produce from the list above?
