Social Justice Meets Evangelism

Page 1

In this 5 minute session from Leadership Network's 2012 The Nines Conference, Bob Roberts, Senior Pastor of Northwood Church in Keller, Texas, describes the good connection between social justice and evangelism. As Christians, we are called to make a difference in this world, and the negative view that some have of social justice actually detracts from effective gospel presentation.

Evangelism and social justice are often set at odds in the minds of some people in the church. The church is more effective, however, when good work for the community and gospel presentation are integrated, rather than set apart.
