In this Insight for Living video clip, Chuck Swindoll, author, radio broadcaster and Senior Pastor of Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, TX, teaches that clutter will jam us up with junk that keeps us from pressing on to our true calling.

Chuck teaches us that clutter can have a negative spiritual effect. Often the physical clutter we surround ourselves with is a reflection of the mental clutter we carry around. Part of pressing on toward the prize of Christ, as the apostle Paul modeled, is forgetting what lies behind. De-cluttering can free us for the best things that God has to offer.

Follow Chuck's advice and do a personal clutter inventory. How cluttered is your home, desk, closet, or trunk? Now ask yourself how physical clutter might be negatively affecting your life.
