Have you ever wondered how someone becomes a great leader? In the Just 3 Questions series, we’ve asked some of today’s top leaders three simple questions about leadership.

Scott Williams is an author, blogger, speaker, strategist, consultant, and Chief Solutions Officer for Nxt Level Solutions. In this first video, he answers, “Who is the best leader you have ever sat under and why were they so good?”

Scott shared with us the acronym B.E.C.C.:

  • B - Believe in them no matter what.
  • E - Encourage them to do more.
  • C - Challenge them to do it better.
  • C - Correct them when they are off.

What do you think of these four points? How have people believed in, encouraged, challenged and corrected you?

In this next video, Scott answers the question, “What is the most important thing you do to develop yourself as a leader?”

Scott said that one of the most important things he does to develop himself is to put everything through a priority grid of God, Family, and then Everything Else. What do you think of that idea? How can you incorporate that into your life?

Scott also mentioned that he allows his family to speak into his priorities. When was the last time you sat down with your spouse and children and talked about how you spend your time?
