All the Way Home

IF:Gathering 2017

In this 30-minute session from the 2017 IF:Gathering, Jill Briscoe shares her life story of meeting Jesus, battling fear, and obeying anyway. Through storytelling, in a poetic and poignant way, she urges us to pick up our cross and carry it all the way home.

Jill Briscoe is the author of more than forty books, as well as the Executive Editor of a magazine for women called Just Between Us. She and her husband, Stuart, pastored a church in the United States for over thirty years. Born in Liverpool, England in 1935, Jill studied at Cambridge before entering into ministry with Stuart. Jill can be heard on the media ministry Telling the Truth. She and Stuart have three children and thirteen grandchildren.

Which of Jill's points did you find most impactful? Why?

Jesus invites us to take up our cross and die to our hopes, dreams, and ambitions. He invites us to die to everything else but Himself. On the steps of our soul, He meets us and empowers us to obey Him.
