The Local Church and Mission

OnMission 2017

How will your local congregation influence the world for Christ? In this video from OnMission 2017, Ted Esler, President of Missio Nexus, reminds us that the Church was global 2000 years before the world started talking about globalization. The Church is uniquely positioned today to fulfill the Great Commission.

Dr. Ted Esler is the President of Missio Nexus, which seeks to advance the effectiveness of the Great Commission community in North America in global mission. Ted is a part of The Living Room Orlando, a house church network in Orlando, Florida. He has B.S. in Computer Science, an M.T.S. in Theology, and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies. With his family, he has served as a missionary in Belize, Croatia, and Bosnia. He formerly served in leadership at Pioneers before working at Missio Nexus. Ted is the author of Overwhelming Minority. Ted and his wife, Annette, have five children.
