The Local Church and Global Church Planting

OnMission 2017

Many western churches shy away from planting international churches, scared off by the perceived cost and commitment. But the core of creating a church is simply to make disciples. In this video from OnMission 2017, Dan Lacich, Pastor at Northland Church in Oviedo, Florida, shares how crucial and simple it is for the local church to be involved in planting international churches.

Dr. Dan Lacich serves as Pastor at Northland Church in Oviedo, Florida. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Theology and Psychology from Franciscan University, a Master of Divinity from Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry, and a Doctor of Ministry from Reformed Theological Seminary. Dan is the author of The Provocative God: Radical Things God Has Said and Done. He also writes regularly at his blog, Provocative Christian Living. Dan and his wife, Barbara, have three adult sons.

The evidence of the Great Commission being fulfilled is the multiplication of churches around the world. When a local church partners with an international church plant to make disciples, it can cause them to grow in unimaginable ways.
