Family Discipleship

OnMission 2017

It’s been said that Christianity is just one generation away from extinction. It’s imperative that we disciple our children. In this video from OnMission 2017, Peter Tan-Chi, Senior Pastor at Christ’s Commission Fellowship in Manilla, Philippines, encourages parents to model love for God so our children will learn to love God.

Peter Tan-Chi is the founder and senior pastor of Christ’s Commission Fellowship (CCF). CCF started as an evangelistic-discipleship home Bible study with a few couples who were unchurched in 1983. Today it has grown to over 40,000 members. It has over 30 satellite churches throughout the Philippines and has also expanded its borders to other parts of the world. It has helped plant over 2,500 house churches in India alone.

He is the Founder and Chairman of Axeia Development Corporation, one of the leading mass housing and subdivision developers. He also founded The Master’s Academy—the first home school program to be accredited by the Department of Education in the Philippines. He sits on the board of various organizations such as Asian Theological Seminary, International Graduate School of Leadership, and the Far East Broadcasting Company Philippines.

Peter is a graduate of the University of the Philippines. He finished his Master’s degree in management at the Asian Institute of Management and his Doctorate degree in ministry at the International Graduate School of Leadership. He was recently recognized as one of UP College of Business Administration’s Distinguished Alumni Awardees and was given the UPAA Distinguished Award in Entrepreneurship and Employment Creation.

Peter and his wife, Deonna have five children and ten grandchildren.

Ministry begins at home. God invites us to be part of a multi-generational discipling movement by intentionally making home our primary ministry.
