2016 Mission Leaders Conference

The gospel is meant to be applied—to be put to use in real time. It is not merely a cliché, a sermon, or a phrase on a t-shirt, but a force that is meant to bear weight on our everyday lives. In this 28-minute sessino from the 2016 Mission Leaders Conference, Duce Branch reminds us that the gospel, when applied, allows reconciliation and unity to be possible among the Church.

After two decades of ministry in and around the city of Philadelphia, Duce Branch now serves his current church, Imago Dei Church, in Raleigh North Carolina, along with regularly preaching and rapping itinerantly. Duce also serves as an adjunct professor for the College at Southeastern in Wake Forest, North Carolina.

As you watch this session, take notes and write down thoughts about how this session can impact your ministry.

Which of the Duce's points did you find most impactful? Why?

The gospel is meant to be applied. When we don’t allow it to be worked out in our lives, we might as well deny the gospel. Work out the gospel in the midst of relationships, and walk in the reconciliation that Christ has purchased for His children.
