Our motives for missions and evangelism matter. The highest motive for missions and evangelism is neither obedience nor love for sinners, great as that love may be. The greatest motive for missions and evangelism is a passionate zeal for the glory of Jesus Christ, which fuels our obedience to God and love for others. Consider your own heart as it relates to missions and evangelism. Ask God to give you wisdom in discerning where greater obedience is required and trust Him to fill you with a sufficient passion for Christ.
