In this 38-minute panel from the 2016 Biblical Counseling Coalition Summit, pastors and counselors Sacha Mendez, David Barcelo, Graeme Campbell,  and Steve Midgley discuss how listening plays a critical role in biblical counseling around the world.

Sacha Mendez serves on the board for the Biblical Counseling Coalition and is a youth and college pastor at Maranatha Baptist Church in Sao Jose dos Campos.

David Barcelo is the Senior Pastor Iglesia Evangélica de la Gracia in Barcelona, Spain. In addition to pastoring the church, he also practices and promotes biblical counseling in Spain and Latin America.

Graeme Campbell is an Elder Emeritus at Grace Community Bible Church in Australia.

Steve Midgley is Executive Director of Biblical Counseling UK, and also Senior Minister of Christ Church, Cambridge.

Think about the ways listening has impacted your spiritual growth and your ministry. As you continue to invest in the people of God, practice listening. Use what you hear to relate to others on a deep level without minimizing their experience. Above all, listen to God for guidance and wisdom.
