In this 40-minute session from the 2016 Biblical Counseling Coalition Summit, Heath Lambert, Executive Director of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), speaks on how Scripture is essential to biblical counseling because it speaks to us across cultural barriers.

Heath serves as the Executive Director of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). He also serves as the Assistant Professor of Biblical Counseling at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and at their undergraduate institution, Boyce College. He is the author several books including, The Biblical Counseling Movement After Adams.

Heath ended his talk by addressing the importance of worship. As you go about your week, come up with creative ways you can worship God. Listen to worship songs on your way to work, pray for a close friend, or serve your family. Encourage those you counsel to practice worshipful habits as well.
