When a church has a staff that is too large, the work of ministry tends to fall primarily to them rather than raising up lay leaders in the church to participate alongside them. Smaller staffs force greater levels of creativity, innovation, and teamwork. Consider your own staff size and ask God to give you wisdom on how to manage it going forward. In all things, work at incorporating your congregation into the work God has placed before you.
