As churches grow, leadership naturally has to change. Many times, pastors consider stepping out of certain roles means abdicating their responsibilities. But Herbert showed that growth actually provides an opportunity for pastors to develop other individuals to carry the load alongside them. Consider your own situation and the people God has placed in your midst who are competent for leadership. Look for ways to invite them into the work of the church.
