Jesus never gave up on us. Rather, He pursued us in the midst of our rejection of Him. He loved us in spite of our sin, not because we were living righteous lives. In the same way, Christians ought to reflect the love of Christ to those who commit moral failure. That does not mean their sin has no consequences, but those ought to be carried out with love. Ask God to give you a deeper heart of grace and compassion for times of moral failure.
