Assume an End

2012 The Nines Conference

In this 5-minute session, pastor Danielle Shroyer explains how her church manages church programs. She tells pastors to assume there is an eventual end to ministries. Some programs need to end, while others might last for a while. Danielle is the author of Where Jesus Prayed: Illuminations on the Lord's Prayer in the Holy Land and The Boundary-Breaking God: An Unfolding Story of Hope and Promise and previously served as pastor of Journey Church in Dallas, Texas.

Assume there’s an end to the programs you begin at your church. Surrender your ministries to God—remember He’s the one who holds your church together in the first place. Take an evaluation of your ministries this week to refine your church’s ministry focus.
