Is the church's mission to fix the problems within their communities or make disciples? As Dave pointed out, the answer is simple—yes. The presence of the body of Christ within a community should bring about both ends. Addressing the needs of society can create bridges to discipleship. Consider the impact of your ministry. Ask yourself whether or not you're leaving a lasting impact and take intentional steps to engage your community in ways that point to Jesus Christ.
