As churches grow, the level of elder involvement necessarily changes. Those in pastoral leadership must be intentional about leading such a transition as seamlessly as possible. Work at putting plans in place that will help you anticipate leadership changes due to church growth. Come alongside the church leaders so as to agree upon clearly communicated expectations for the future.
