Laurie pointed out that when we question whether social justice hinders the gospel we are asking the wrong question. Christ's words and actions were both recorded so that we might understand the good news properly. In other words, our lives of obedience have just as much to say as the words we speak. Look for areas of social justice needs in the context where God has placed you. Ask Him to open your eyes to see the world as He does and to engage it holistically with the good news of Jesus Christ.
