Many of the tensions leaders face among staff and volunteer teams is a result of either a poor selection process or a lackadaisical attitude in vetting potential candidates. When organizing a team, it's important to consider their character, competence, and chemistry. As you think on your own process, be intentional about incorporating these into the ways you vet new team members.
