Often times, we focus first on qualities that are byproducts of other behaviors. Like Chris shared, trust is the end goal, not the starting point. It's something earned through a process of consistency, predictability, and confidence. Look for ways to encourage your staff members to commit in the appropriate starting place. Help them to develop a consistent work ethic that will result in a greater sense of trust throughout the team.
