It's possible to train people in new skills, but it's nearly impossible to alter an individual's personality. While you may be able to shift it for a period of time through certain amounts of pressure, the result will not endure. Take the tips Mike shared into consideration as you go about organizing future teams. Consider the qualities you desire most in team members and be rigorous about accepting only those who fit for the sake of effective ministry going forward.
