Serve Like Jesus

2013 The Nines Conference

Godfrey Hubert has served as Senior Pastor of the Foundry United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas for over 30 years. He is also one of the founders of Cy-Hope, a nonprofit committed to making life better for the children of Cy-Fair in the Houston area.

Godfrey said, “We gave up on what was working for the church in exchange for what worked better in the community for the kingdom of God.” May we take time to think about how we measure discipleship in our church and the role community service could play in the growth of our congregants.
