Vision. Alignment. Character. These are just a few things that churches need for a successful transition. Character is most important, though. When leaders lead with grace and humility, they are able to endure the difficulty and bless their people during a potentially painful time. As you move forward in succession, pray for God’s Holy Spirit to fill and empower you for godly, humble leadership.
