Deuteronomy 6:13-14 (ESV)

We can respond to question nine with the following answer: first, that we know and trust God as the only true and living God. Second, that we avoid all idolatry and do not worship God improperly. Third, that we treat God’s name with fear and reverence, honoring also his Word and works.

John pointed out the first three commandments deal with our perception and treatment of God. He must be our only God, and we must revere Him by not turning to idols and honoring His name. What stands out to you the most about this answer? Why?
