Preach God's Design

The Nines Conference 2014

The gospel is for everyone, but there are times when it forces us to have difficult conversations with people. What does it look like for a church to be inviting for all, but in a way that leads to life-transformation? As Bryan shared, Christians cannot expect to preach a biblical view of sexuality without being misunderstood and mislabeled. In response, we could pour energy and resources into arguments, marketing campaigns, and nuanced doctrine to try and prove otherwise. Or we can devote ourselves to changing the minds of the gay community by how well we love them. As you face this issue in your own context, be bold in the biblical teachings about sexuality, all the while devoting yourself to loving relationships aimed at life change in pursuit of Christ.
