Let the Children Come

The Nines Conference 2014

Our acceptance of children should not be contingent upon the behavior of their parents. Instead, the church should take advantage of available opportunities to love the next generation well and set them up for a future of biblical faithfulness. As Terry shared, there are numerous opportunities for this to occur in Christian community without compromising our convictions about homosexuality. Look for ways to create an inviting environment for the children of same-sex couples so as to introduce them to the life-transforming reality of Jesus Christ.
