God can seem like a superhero with a secret identity. Does He wears a mask to conceal His true nature or is there a way we can get to know Him? Dr. Philip Ryken, President of Wheaton College, explains certain aspects of God’s nature that cause Him to both withhold and disclose parts of Himself.

There are moments in Scripture where God hides Himself. Since we are His creation, we cannot fully understand His ways.

Jesus reveals the nature of God. While parts of God’s sovereign will remain hidden, He can be known through the person of Jesus. Invest time this week in listening to and talking with God. Thank Him for making Himself available to us through Jesus.
