In a Corner

The Nines Conference 2014

If the church is going to engage in meaningful ministry on the issue of same-sex marriage, as Christians we must refrain from speaking about the issue in sweeping generalities. When we do, we miss opportunities to understand the emotions involved so as minister to individuals in a transformative way. Though the culture's stance may push you into a corner, be courageous. Walk with the Spirit and allow God to provide you with opportunities to minister to people engaged in same-sex relationships because of your loving desire to know them personally.
