Complex Issues Need Complex Treatment

The Nines Conference 2014

As God's Word, the gospel offers critiques for both the church and the culture. If there are ways that we, as Christians, have failed to love the gay community well it is our responsibility to seek forgiveness. In addition, while the gay community needs to recognize God's design for marriage, we have to understand that their lives will not change apart from honest relationships. As you think back on your own life, consider the ways God has used faithful relationships to lead you into deeper obedience. In response, ask Him to use you in a similar manner with the gay community to draw them into a deeper and more faithful love of Christ.
