Meditating Day and Night

The Gospel Coalition 2013 Michigan Regional Conference

Meditating on the Scripture allows the Word of God to work on us. Mike Bullmore taught at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School as Associate Professor of Homiletics and Pastoral Theology for fifteen years.

God’s Word has power to transform us, and we access that power by meditating constantly on the life-giving Scriptures. As we delight in God’s Word, it allows Him to get at the deepest things in our hearts and souls to transform us into His perfect image. As a preacher, you must be constantly in God Word not just for preaching, for for your own meditation and growth.
