Justice is based on God’s character of love and compassion for humanity, and that same character should motivate justice in the hearts of His people.

If we develop an accurate view of the gospel of grace—that we who were spiritually destitute were rescued by a compassionate God—we can cultivate an attitude of godly justice. Our focus will begin to mirror God’s, and we can pursue radical and grace-filled justice for those whom the world has marginalized.
