The Gospel: Justification

The Gospel Coalition 2010 Los Angeles Regional Conference

Aren’t we humans even a little bit good? In this 77-minute session, Don Carson, world-renowned New Testament scholar and author, and Research Professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, looks at the justification that God has given us through Jesus’ death and resurrection. Justification transforms fallen humans into something more. Don is the author of over fifty books, including The Gagging of God and An Introduction to the New Testament

As fallen humans, we have nothing good in us. Nothing we do could remotely be called “good,” and God’s wrath hovers above us. But Jesus, through His death, burial and resurrection, provides a way for us to be justified. Only through Him can you find justification and, as a result, hope.
