Invest Your Opportunities Well

2014 The Gospel At Work Conference

In this 50-minute session, Greg Gilbert makes five observations from Jesus’ Parable of the Talents. He challenges us to consider the opportunities and responsibilities that God has given us, and to use them well for God’s glory. Greg is the senior pastor of Third Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky, and the author of several books including The Gospel at Work, and What Is the Mission of the Church?

God gives each of us unique opportunities and responsibilities. For those of us who have claimed His name through Jesus, God has expectations that we be faithful and fruitful with what He has entrusted to us. Whatever we do, we ultimately work for God. We should pursue His glory in everything—particularly in our work.
