2014 The Gospel At Work Conference

In this 47-minute session, Rick Holland, pastor of Mission Road Bible Church and author of “Eclipsing the Son,” highlights the preeminence of Jesus in every aspect of our lives—particularly our work. God has ordained that most of us spend most of our lives at work. Therefore, we have a responsibility to make Jesus the priority of our work.

The fundamental piece of the Christian life at work is submission. When we submit our work to Jesus and allow Him to have first place, our submission to our earthly authorities and to those around us demonstrates the gospel in action. When people ask, “Why?” we are able to give them an answer for the transformation that God has brought about in us.
