Impress Upon Your Children

2013 D6 Conference

In this 26-minute session, Richard Ross walks through the history of God’s people in light of His command that they impress the commandments of God on their children. When they succeed, things are good. But when they fail, dark days settle in. Richard brings to light the importance of succeeding in impressing upon our children the truths about God. Richard is a professor at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX,  and the official spokesperson for the True Love Waits movement.

Which of Richard's points did you find most impactful? Why?

The history of God’s people can be summarized in how they teach their children about their God. As you look at your own parenting, decide which side of history you want to be on. If you dedicate yourself to teaching your children to love God and keep His commandments, you lay a foundation for the transformation of history.
