Demystifying Depression
Depression is both a serious medical condition and an overused word for normal sadness, and the public perception of this condition falls all over that spectrum. Churches offer counsel for life on a regular basis, and chances are that someone coming to your church for help will need serious help with depressive illness. In this 5-part course, Dr. Greg Knopf, Medical Director of the Gresham-Troutdage Family Medical Center, helps us to both understand the realities of depression and consider the church's role in treating this illness.
