Dr. Steven J. Lawson is Senior Pastor of Christ Fellowship Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama, having served as a pastor in Arkansas and Alabama for over thirty years. He is the Professor of Preaching in the masters and doctoral programs at The Master's Seminary, where he also serves on the Board of Directors of The Master's Seminary and College in Sun Valley, California. Steven serves as a Teaching Fellow with Ligonier Ministries located in Orlando, Florida, where he lectures as a Visiting Professor in the Doctor of Ministry program at the Ligonier Academy. He is a Council member of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and serves on its Executive Staff. Steven has authored over eighteen books including The Heroic Boldness of Martin Luther and Preaching the Psalms.
