Jessica's faith in Christ moved her to make a covenant of sexual purity in her life. As a talented rap artist, her abilities gave her access to important people in the music industry. But these new connections encouraged Jessica to stop singing about God in her music and incorporate sexually explicit lyrics. The lure of possible success caused her to abandon what she knew to be true for a lifestyle that reflected the sexually-charged things she was singing about. She was convicted that she had to change her ways. She took a year and grew in her faith and confidence in the Lord, wanting to now create music for God’s glory. This story can also be found in Decisions featuring Eric Mason.
