Amari was obsessed with the Hip Hop scene. In his life he emulated everything about Hip Hop culture, especially the fashion. Although he went to church, he was putting Hip Hop before God, holding back his tithes and offering to make sure he could afford to live and dress like those he was following. After being pursued by the Lord and convicted of his choices, he realized the emptiness of his pursuits and the greater satisfaction of pursuing Christ. This story can also be found in Decisions featuring Eric Mason.
