Leneita Fix
Leneita Fix is the Program Development Director for Aslan Youth Ministries, a family-focused urban ministry serving Monmouth County New Jersey and Haiti. Her early years of ministry were spent in camp ministry, suburban and rural youth groups. More recently, she has been ministering in three different urban areas (New Jersey, Virginia, Florida back to New Jersey). Her responsibilities have included Bible-based program direction for children ages 5-18, curriculum writing, staff training and recruiting, discipleship, resource creation and speaking to national audiences.
Leneita has coordinated all aspects of training for a national organization, Urban Youth Workers Institute. She has written training and workshop curriculum for several organizations, that is still in use. In addition she has worked as a consultant with national ministries in direction of their curriculum and work. For “fun” she has had the honor of planning and programming several small conferences, while being part of the bigger team for a couple of large ones. In 2012 she had the honor of having her first book published, No Teenager Left Behind, in addition she was featured in several multi-author projects including, 50 Questions and Two Sides and the Simple Truth Bible. She also co-authored Live:Urban.
Her passion is to raise up workers in practical, relationship-driven methods while remaining in the trenches with the youth and families she loves. She believes that God has called for the restoration of broken families and works tirelessly to help others see this. One of her greatest joys is serving in ministry as a family with her husband three children, and her niece.
