Eric Metaxas
Eric Metaxas is the author of four New York Times Bestsellers including the #1 Bestseller, Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy. Bonhoeffer was named “Book of the Year” by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) and appeared on numerous 2010 “Book of the Year” lists. Since its release, it has sold over one million copies in more than 20 languages.
Eric's other best sellers include Miracles: What They Are, How They Happen, and How They Can Change Your Life; Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery; and Seven Men: And the Secret of Their Greatness. He has also authored over 30 children's books.
After graduating from Yale with an English degree, Eric published humor in The New York Times and the Atlantic Monthly and was also a writer for Rabbit Ears Productions and VeggieTales. In 2012, Eric was the keynote speaker at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C.
Today, Eric is the host of the Eric Metaxas Show, a daily radio program in 120 cities, and the co-host of BreakPoint, a daily radio program that provides a Christian perspective on current news and trends to over 8 million estimated listeners. Eric speaks to thousands across the U.S. and internationally each year. He is a Senior Fellow and Lecturer at Large for the King's College in New York City where he lives with his wife and daughter.
