James MacDonald (D. Min. Phoenix Seminary) is the Pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel. In 1988, with eighteen people, James and his wife, Kathy, planted Harvest Bible Chapel, which now ministers to more than 12,000 people at seven campus locations across Chicagoland each weekend.
In addition to his preaching ministry, James began Walk in the Word, a Bible-teaching ministry, on one radio station in 1997. Today the radio broadcast reaches more than three million people daily, and the Walk in the Word television program, starting in 2014, has a daily audience that extends around the world. James' extensive ministry also includes a training center for pastors, a year-round camp, a center for biblical counseling, a disaster-recovery organization, and an accredited Christian school.
James is the author of several books, including: Act Like Men; Vertical Church; Lord, Change Me; Lord, Change My Attitude; When Life is Hard; Always True; and Gripped by the Greatness of God. James and his wife, Kathy, have three grown children and five grandchildren.
