Marcus Goodloe


Dr. Marcus "Goodie" Goodloe, Ph.D. serves as Teaching Pastor at Parkcrest Church in Long Beach, California. He travels around the country mentoring students and educators, business professionals, athletes and entertainers, and faith communities on a range of issues including culture and interpersonal relationships, leadership, team and synergy, character formation, and faith. He is the author of KingMaker: Applying Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Leadership Lessons. He has a dual Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication, and earned a Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in San Francisco, California. He earned a Ph.D. from Dallas Baptist University (2011; the first African-American to be awarded such). Goodie and his wife, Lucy, live in the Los Angeles area and have two children.
