Dr. Chris Hill is the Lead Pastor of The Potter's House of Denver and Founder of Hill Communications. Chris leads the 8,000+ member church to serve its community; establishing one of Denver's largest feeding programs, homeless initiatives, a prison ministry that serves over 10 prisons state wide, and a free counseling center that cares for over 1,000 people each month. The church provides services for youth, seniors, children, and veterans; being called one of the fastest growing and most racially diverse churches in America.
Having served as a business professional, a CEO, an author, a homiletics professor, a student-activist, a philanthropist, and a world evangelist; he comes armed with a global perspective. His insights into the Word of God are both reverent and relevant enabling his messages to touch the lives of people from all cultures, denominations, ages, and socioeconomic backgrounds. He was called to preach at The Potter's House of Dallas in the fall of 1997 under the tutelage of Bishop T.D. Jakes, founder and senior pastor of the 30,000 member church. While there, Chris served as a youth and associate pastor, and is credited with growing the church's youth ministry from a few members to over 3,000 in less than five years. He then served as a World Evangelist for seven years and traveled the world, sharing the gospel with all races, colors, religions, and creeds.
In 2009, Chris began preaching at a struggling church in Denver, Colorado, which was re-launched as The Potter's House of Denver in 2010. Chris resides with his wife, Joy and their 2 sons, in the city of Denver, Colorado
