Bart Millard is a founding member and lead singer of the multi-platinum selling contemporary Christian band MercyMe. He is the author of The Hurt and the Healer (with Andrew Farley) and I can Only Imagine (with Robert Noland), which is based on the best-selling single in the history of Christian music and inspired a major motion picture. Bart and his wife, Shannon, have five children and reside in Franklin, Tennessee.
