Steven J. Chin is the Senior Pastor at the Boston Chinese Evangelical Church, the largest Asian church in New England with over 1,200 adults meeting in six worship services using English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. He also serves on the Chinatown Safety Committee and is a member of The Gospel Coalition Council. Steven has a B.E. in Industrial Engineering from New York University, an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnic University and a Masters in Public Administration from New York University. After working as a Senior Health Planner for the Mass. Dept. of Public Health, he switched careers to serve in church ministry. Steven received his M.A. in Biblical Studies and the Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has served on the staff of the Boston Chinese Evangelical Church as Assistant to the Pastor starting in 1977, became Associate Pastor in 1984, and became Senior Pastor in 2000. Steven is married to Nancy and has two adult children.
